On May 30, 2025, the Belarusian State Philharmonic, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus and the Embassy of France in Belarus invite music lovers to the Big Hall, where a concert performance of the only opera by the famous author of popular operettas Jacques Offenbach, “The Tales of Hoffmann,” will take place.

The premiere of the opera was a triumph in 1881 in Paris. After that, in Belarus, it was staged only once at the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater, and certainly was not performed on the Philharmonic stage.

The construction of this work, edited by director Irina Krikunova and conductor Alexander Anisimov, will be performed with one intermission.

The performance will feature singers from France Xavier Moconduit (Hoffmann) and Olivier Ate (Miracle, Dapertutto, Lindorf. Coppelius), as well as soloists of the Belarusian State Philharmonic and student vocalists of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.

The State Academic Choir named after G.Shirma will also take part in the performance. Chief conductor – Olga Yanum.

The conductor will be People’s Artist of Belarus Alexander Anisimov.
