In anticipation of the Christmas holidays, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus invites them to perform in the program “Winter Dreams.” Chief Conductor Alexander Anisimov has included the most popular “winter” works in the concert. The concert program will feature:
- L. van Beethoven’s “Named Overture”;
- P.Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.1 “Winter Dreams,” which gives the entire program its title;
- R.Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor.
The soloist will be international competition laureate Sergei Mikulik.
Sergei Aleksandrovich Mikulik is an associate professor in the Special Piano Department at the Belarusian State Academy of Music. His concert activities have included performances in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Italy, Germany, Austria, China, and many other countries.
Conducting this evening will be People’s Artist of Belarus Alexander Anisimov.
