“Were there still...”: to the 85th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Belarus, composer Eduard Hanok

The outstanding master of song, People’s Artist of Belarus, composer Eduard Hanok celebrates his 85th birthday! The National Academic Folk Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus named after I. Zhinovich, conducted by Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Kremko, dedicates its concert to this event.

We are sure that this evening the songs of the famous Maestro will be heard not only from the stage – the whole hall will sing them! After all, every melody of Eduard Khank is on the lips of millions of people! ‘Ice Ceiling’, ‘Malinovka’, ‘I live at my grandmother's house’, ‘Zavirukha’, ‘Hello, stranger's sweetheart’, ‘And I'll lie down and jump’, ‘There will be more to come’, ‘Foggy River’, ‘Let's talk’... These and dozens of other popular songs by Eduard Khank have become so firmly embedded in our everyday life that they have become truly popular! They were heard in movies and cartoons, they were performed by Soviet pop stars Eduard Khil, Anna German, Maria Pakhomenko, Yuri Bogatikov, VIA “Pesnyary”, “Syabry”, “Verasy” and many other popular artists. In the jubilee concert of the Maestro of Soviet pop music Eduard Hank his songs will be performed by Igor Zadorozhny, Anastasia Rachitskaya, Natalia Bratslovskaya, Alexander Zhurovich, soloists of the production center “SPAMASH”, exemplary theater of pop songs “Syabrynka” and other artists.

The special guest of the concert is Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Solodukha.

It will be obligatory for the celebrant himself to come on stage. As you know, Eduard Hanok always performs his songs very artistically and humorously, which invariably conquers the enthusiastic audience and brings down the thunder of applause!
