On November 29, 2025, the jazz trio “Transformer” will continue its autumn concert series with the program “Rhythm & Waltz” at the Small Hall n.a. G.Shirma.
This evening will unfold according to the laws of the dance genre: stylish live music, infused with waltz rhythms, will guide the events. The renowned Belarusian piano trio will perform themes by F.Chopin, P.Tchaikovsky, R.Galliano, and C.Bolling, spiced up with jazz harmonies and swing.
The well-known Belarusian concert projects “Transformer,’ which combine classical, jazz, and crossover styles, have already become beloved by listeners and connoisseurs of professional music. They are distinguished by their creative originality, meticulous approach to the musical material, and virtuoso mastery of performance, enabling them to play music imbued with profound meaning and subtle nuances, as well as empathize, ignite, and “swing”. The mastermind behind the “Transformer” projects and the soloist is pianist Elena Vashkevich, associate professor at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, and leader of the jazz trio “Transformer”.
