On May 18 at 18.00 in the Great Concert Hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, the concert “Mandolinissimo” of the Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra of the Belarusian State Academy of Music under the direction of Dmitry Titov will take place.

The name of the concert is the starting point for the revival of the International Festival "Mandolinissimo", which traditionally features leading performers on folk instruments from different countries. This evening will feature music by G.B.Sammartini, K.Stamitz, R.Sandoval, R.Dyens, Ch.Acquavella, J.Kuwahara. The highlight of the program will be the Concerto in F minor for piano and orchestra by J.S. Bach and Concertino Bianco for piano and orchestra by G. Pelecis (soloist - laureate of international competitions Tatyana Kim). The concert "Mandolinissimo" will be held within the framework of the cultural and educational project "Folk Strings", which is aimed at popularizing the performance of folk instruments - domra, mandolin and guitar.
